....the Teacher Shall Appear

by Seyed Mahdi Ghazvini

Who are the people that have impacted you in a positive way? For most people, it’s their parents, teachers, and sports coaches. Can you think of anyone else who has gotten you to where you are now? Who can guide to where you want to go?

Everyone has had a number of guides in their life. Some of us recognize them, while others do not. The important thing to understand is that when we’re ready to move on to the next level, we must learn from others that can point out our blind spots.

If you look at the top athletes, you will find that all of them, without exception, have had multiple great coaches that have moved them forward. Michael Jordan, Tom Brady, Tiger Woods, and Khabib Nurmagomedov have had great coaches in every area of their athletic accomplishment. Imagine if they all refused to be coached and led by others. Where would they be?

Some of us assume that successful people really don’t want to help others. The truth is, they want to help more than anyone else because most of them got to where they are now through someone else extended a hand of friendship and guidance to them!

You can have the greatest coaches, mentors, and guides in front of you, but If you’re not ready, they’ll pass you by as if they never existed.

When the Student is Ready...

Karate Kid & Mr. Miyagi

The Qur’an tells us the story of Moses and Khidhr. Although Moses was a knowledgeable person, God brought another, more knowledgeable person into his life so that Moses could begin to achieve higher realities. Eventually, Moses could not understand some of the wisdom behind the choices of Khidhr, and for that they had to part ways. How we appreciate and steward the current learning opportunities in our lives determines how long we continue to unlock further learning opportunities. Be the student that treats a crumb like a feast, not the one who treats a feast like a crumb.

At Juicy!, we believe in the value of ‘Green and Growing.’ This means that as we climb the ladder of growth and personal development, we help others do the same. We appreciate when people pour their lives into us so that we can better our own lives.

When you’re ready to grow, the right people will appear in your life. Are you ready? Join our team!
